ABOUT

Hyewon Grigoni is a Durham, NC based artist who has engaged in a variety of creative practices since childhood. Lately she focuses on painting, wheel throwing, and motherhood. Her work and writing have appeared in art shows, in print, and on air for public radio.

Hyewon believes that art, like good writing or good religion, can comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable. Her work aims to achieve a little of both in equal measure.
